Overview

The Golden Princess is one of nine Grand Class cruise ships from Princess Cruises. This ship, completed in 2001, was overhauled in 2009 and underwent a refurbishment in 2015. This cruise ship offers journeys to Alaska and Coastal Australia. Cabin Options

The Golden Princess cruise ship has 1,318 cabins and suites with space for up to 2,600 guests. All staterooms on this ship sleep two guests, while rooms with Pullman bunk beds or a sofa bed accommodate three to four passengers. Standard amenities include daily housekeeping service, nightly turn-down service, 100% Egyptian cotton linens and premium shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.

Family Suites with Balcony

Size: 319 to 730 sq. ft.

Occupancy: Up to 6 guests

Family Suites with Balcony have two twin beds that convert to queen-size, refrigerator, hair dryer, safe, phone and desk. Premium amenities include a walk-in-closet, mini-bar, upgraded balcony furniture, CD/DVD player, DVD library, two flat screen TVs and pillow-top mattress.

Mini-Suite

Size: 323 sq. ft.

Occupancy: Up to 4 guests

Mini-Suites have two twin beds that convert to queen-size, television, refrigerator, hair dryer, safe, closet, phone and desk. Premium amenities include a welcome glass of champagne, combination tub and shower in the bathroom, a separate seating area with sofa bed and chocolates on your pillow.

Balcony Stateroom

Size: 214 to 257 sq. ft

Occupancy: Up to 2 guests

There are many fun and exciting activities to enjoy on the Golden Princess. Try your luck at the Grand Casino, work on your putting skills at the Lawn Court or watch the latest movie at Movies Under the Stars® poolside screen. On the Piazza, you'll find live music, jugglers and acrobats strolling among the shops and cafes.

Looking for a bit of evening entertainment? Order a refreshing beverage at one of the many bars and lounges such as the Explorer’s Lounge, Wheelhouse Bar or Skywalkers Nightclub. Live music is everywhere on the Golden Princess, and styles range from disco to top-40 to mariachi, or you can sing-a-long to the piano man in Crooner's Lounge.

Main Dining Rooms - Breakfast, lunch and dinner with open seating from 7:30 to 9:30 am and noon to 1:30 p.m. on sea days and embarkation day. Dinner is available as either fixed seating or guests can choose the Anytime Dining option.

Ultimate Balcony Dining - Intimate breakfast or dinner for two. Breakfast is served from 7 am to 11 am for $32 per couple, while dinner is served from 6 pm to 10 pm for $100 per couple. Dinner includes a cocktail party, fresh flowers, champagne and a four-course meal.
